Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G design
After reviewing the Oppo Reno 4 Pro, I immediately. He saw many similarities between him and his successor. For starters, Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is very thin and light, measuring 7.6 mm in length and weighing just 173 grams. It feels great with one hand, and at the same time, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long In my opinion, the Astral Blue version I have very good is feeling. The shiny frame provides a decent grip and is flexible on fingerprints as well as a unique glow behind the textured glass when the light hits it. Oppo also offers a brown black option.
It has full-HD + resolution, a peak brightness of 1,100nits, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display has several certifications for blue light emission and is also HDR10 + capable. Oppo uses scratch-resistant glass for the rear panel from Panda (Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for the black version), and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 covers the glass above the display.
Overall, I really like the design of Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G, mainly because of its fragility and low weight. Although this phone has a plastic frame, the billing quality is also very good, and the rear cameras are barely stretched, and it is a very comfortable phone to carry in your pocket. The box includes a 65W charger, USB Type-C cable, SIM Ajax tool, case and USB Type-C headset.

Oppo Reno 5 Pro specifications & software
A major upgrade to Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is the MediaTek Dimension 1000+ SoC, announced in May last year and has now made its way into India. In fact, it is the first dementia SOC to debut in smartphones in India.

Oppo is offering Reno 5 Pro 5G in the same configuration with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
Reno 5 Pro Color or 11.1 runs, which is based on Android 11. It is more or less available in the same format as on Oppo smartphones. The latest version offers a lot of customization from Oppo, and should still be familiar to existing Oppo users. You can brighten the size of the display watch faces that are always displayed, and even choose between three different intensities for the dark mode. It has a slightly tweaked game space menu that can be called while playing the game, and you can translate text quickly into screen shots thanks to the Google lens.
You can find many of Oppo’s pre-installed apps, as well as third-party developers, and most can be installed later. Common Oppo app includes music, browser, theme store, etc., which we have seen on Oppo phones in the past. Thankfully I did not encounter any unwanted advertising or promotional notifications from the company’s Share app.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G performance & battery life
I used Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G for about a week and things went very well. I do not mind carrying it with any other phone as it is very light and thin. The fingerprint sensor and facial recognition work very well in these displays. Biometric verification using any method is fast and smooth. 5G is something that I could not test in India, but 4G VoLTE worked very well and I had no problem with call quality.
In the real world, the Reno 5 Pro 5G is capable of handling demanding apps and games relatively easily. Call of Duty: Mobile and Asphalt 9: Legends ran very well on top graphics settings, and so Carcass Drift Racing 2, which can be a taxing game to run.
With normal usage, I was able to easily average about a day and a half on one charge. The battery is incredibly charged when using a bundled 65W charger. I was able to get 98% charge in just half an hour.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G camera
The Reno 4 Pro has a Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G 64-megapixel primary camera with a resolution higher than the 48-megapixel sensor. However, the rest of the features are the same.
Reno 5 Pro 5G’s signature camera features a new ‘A Highlight Video’ format based on the amount of light around your subjects, either to illuminate the footage in low light or an HD Day R effect is applied is. It also works for selfie videos. An image for video also has an image mode. The rest of the features are the same as we have seen on previous Oppo smartphones, and include AI color portraits, ultra study video, pro mode, and more.
AI Highlight Video is viable because it illuminates dark scenes (with additional noise) and helps balance the white when shooting subjects directly from sunlight.Remember that it works not only at 4k but also 1080p. Speaking of 4K, the video shot in broad daylight is good in terms of quality, but you don’t get stability, as the Ultra Study mode is also limited to 1080p. 1080p gets a little grainy in video shot in low light with stability, so sticking to 4K is best, even if it means the footage looks a bit brighter.
Overall a good package for the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G price. It has a premium design, a vivid display, long battery life, very fast charging and a fairly capable camera. However, especially in low light, video quality can be improved, and I’d like to see stability at 4K. It also doesn’t hurt for a stereo speaker.
If you are looking for a more powerful SoC, always get the Mi 10T Pro 5G , Samsung Galaxy S20FE and OnePlus 8 , but these phones are even more expensive.
